Goalkeeping Sessions Every Wednesday 6.30- 7.30 At Burgage Rugby Club

The Goalkeeper is an essential part of any team and is based on sound techniqueVikings sessions cover a large range of techniques to help our keepers improve all aspects of their game, from ball handling skills to footwork, from distribution and diving to dealing with crosses and high balls .

The sessions are delivered by our head keeper coach John Brimble who has over 20 years playing experience, as well as being a fully licensed Fa Coach, with FA goalkeeping and outfield level 2 coaching badges, his knowledge and understanding of the game has helped the Vikings keepers develop at a remarkable pace. We aim to help every goalkeeper who comes to the sessions to reach their potential, through individually planned one to one sessions and high tempo group sessions. Its a great hour for the players to develop their skills in the hardest position to play in sport. Are you good enough to be No 1

Raiders U12 Squad Play MCFC U12 Girls Team at the MCFC Football Academy

The Raiders players were delighted to be given the chance to play the Mcfc girls squad at the City Football Academy. It was an amazing experience for the team playing opposition of that standard is a great way to learn and develop. The facilities were out of this world too , the boys even got their own changing room.On the pitch the team played some nice football and even managed to win a game 3-2, which saw Koru and Ben on the score sheet with some lovely finishes. All in all a fantastic night in which the lads did the club proud, well done everyone and thanks to Mcfc for the invite.
